The first order of business is to explain what will happen to the schedule since the Huston/Baltimore game was not played Monday night due to the weather problems in Texas.
Due to the NFL schedule change caused by the hurricane, we’ve done the following:
1. The Houston/Baltimore game is still on the schedule for this week but it will remain unplayed. Players will get no points for that game this week.
2. The schedule changes in week 8 and week 10 have been implemented, so users will be able to pick as they would in any other week with the entry form reflecting the schedule changes.
Six players were in the running Monday night to win the football pool. Five of the players pick Dallas and one picked the Eagles. The winner was decided by total points with the low being 28 and the high being 62. The actual total was an amazing 78 points.
The winner of Week 2 was Mike Owens of Pioneer Growers of Belle Glade, Florida.
This is the first year that Mike has played and he certainly started out strong winning the 2nd Week with the tie breaker total of 62 points. Looking back his choice of 62 points was smart but before the game started it seemed to be very high number.
