This week was the most competitive in our Football Pool history with 15 players in contention going into Monday night's football game. On Monday there were seven players who had the edge with only three losses, but eight other players with just four losses had a chance to win if Baltimore won the game. This tight field on Monday night was set up by the Chiefs’ beating Denver and Dallas losing to Washington. The vast majority of the pool players didn’t see that coming. All of the pool players in contention for the prize ended Sunday with at least three or four losses.
Monday night was a great game as the Steelers and the Ravens dueled into over time to determine their fate and help use decided who won this week pool. Lots of players had a chance to win but one finally won in overtime with the point total being the tie breaker. The Steelers win put 8 players in the tie breaker.
The winner of Week 4 is Scott Pyle from Queensland, Australia. Scott works for J.H. Leavy & Co. You can visit their new web site at www.jhleavy.com.au.
