It is always interesting to see the result going into Monday night football. There were five players that had a chance to win the prize. Big Al was in front of the pack as he had only one loss going into Monday. Big Al is the first player this year that lead the field into Monday Night football with only one loss. That is some pretty impressive picking!

 

Al picked the Broncos to beat the Patriots. While the Patriots were favored by the majority of the pool players, his pick was a risk worth taking because of Bill Belichick’s record of wins against Mike Shanahan is not that good. The problem with the pick was that Denver didn’t do their part and even had trouble holding onto the ball.

 

Denver’s loss tied big Al with four other players, but not to worry, he still had a chance to win. The tie breaker came into play at this point. Big Al’s total points pick was 44 and the total for the game was 48. The problem was that Grover13 picked 46 and won the pool this week. Al and three other players went to the showers and Grover13 takes the prize.
